Kirstie Allsopp visits Pateley Show 2011
Sarah was asked by channel 4 to take part in a new television show with Kirstie Allsopp (to be shown late October) in which Sarah showed Kirstie how to show a pig and the skills involved in pig handling. Kirstie showed Champion sow "Gwennie a Gloustershire Old Spot" and scooped a second prize out in the ring with her.Everyone had a great day and really enjoyed meeting and talking to Kirstie.
Gisburn Auction on 11th October 2012

Sarah bought this calf which was a champion calf on the 11th October 2012. She took part in a "over wintering competition" organised by Gisburn Auction in which she had to buy a calf at auction, feed and care for it over winter and train it to walk on a halter and prepare it for the show. On the 8th March sarah return to Gisburn auction with her young bull and showed it in the young handlers competition. In which there were over 40 entries.

Overall Reserve Champion
1st - for most weight gained through out the competition, She won 1st in her age group 12 - 16 year olds, scooped 2nd for best male animal.
The bull then was then sold at auction on saturday 9th March.
